Imida gr

Imida GR is a high-performance, systemic soil-application insecticide developed by Oriental Crop Care Company Private Limited for the long-term protection of field crops. Formulated as a Granule (GR) containing Imidacloprid 0.3%, this product is specifically designed to be applied directly to the soil, where it is rapidly absorbed by the plant’s root system. Once absorbed, the active ingredient is distributed acropetally (upward) through the plant tissues, providing comprehensive protection from the roots to the foliage.

Imida GR acts as a potent antagonist to the insect’s central nervous system, binding to postsynaptic nicotinic receptors and causing paralysis and eventual death. Because it features a combination of contact, stomach, and translaminar actions, it is exceptionally effective against soil-dwelling pests and early-season sucking insects. The granular formulation ensures easy, uniform broadcasting and provides a sustained residual effect, protecting the crop during its most vulnerable early growth stages without being easily washed away by rain.
